$6.6 Billion in U.S. "Aid" Money Missing, Likely Stolen

U.S. Trade & Aid Monitor typically does not re-post news articles, but this piece from the LA Times is a must-read. The fact that $6.6 billion in cold, hard cash has "disappeared" -- compounded by the fact that additional tens of billions were simply awarded to contractors for failed military and development projects -- indirectly affirms the Monitor's mission: bringing to light how the precious, hard-earned funds of U.S. taxpayers are spent and misspent around the globe.
